The mother of Stephen “Twitch”, Connie Boss Alexander, and his brother, Dre Rose, speak out.

On Tuesday 11 February, the Mother-Son Duo appeared on CBS mornings To tackle a few claims in the memoirs of the widow of the late Danser, Allison Holker – namely how she reportedly found drugs in his closet after his death in December 2022, as well as the experience of the family after the tragedy.

Dre, who worked with Stephen, said that his brother would often trust him struggling with issues such as Imposier Syndrome and together they would think of ways to tackle his uncertainties. Those kinds of conversations were difficult for Stephen to have Holker, said Dre.

In January, Holker opened her memoirs for people and revealed that the book would describe her upbringing, love story with Stephen and healing a two -year journey with their children after his death by suicide in December 2022.

After talking about the book, Holker stood online opposite Backlash van Stephen’s fans and loved ones. She later discussed the criticism and wrote on social media: “I want to be clear that my only intention in writing is to share my own story, as well as part of my life with Stephen to help other people. Holker has since shared that she will donate all the proceeds from the book “to finance the mental health -oriented basis that I started in honor of Stephen, Move with Kindness.”

“I hope we don’t have to lose any other husband, brother, father or friend to suicide,” she concluded. “I believe that if Stephen would be able to choose, he would choose to let his story tell whether it would even save even one life. A lot of love for everyone who has supported our family for so many years. “
